Resume
What this agent does
The Co-Lending Ops Agent AI manages the operational backbone of LendingIQ's bank co-lending partnerships — reconciling each party's share of disbursements and repayments against the master co-lending agreement, tracking FLDG utilisation and replenishment obligations, and producing the operational reporting that the partner bank and LendingIQ's senior management require.
Primary functions
Bank-NBFC Reconciliation
Daily — all co-lending accountsINVOKED WHEN: daily co-lending transaction data is available from CBS and the partner bank feed
- Reads LendingIQ's CBS data and the partner bank's transaction data for every co-lending account and reconciles disbursements — confirming that each disbursement reflects the correct NBFC:bank ratio as specified in the master agreement (minimum 20% NBFC, maximum 80% bank), that the bank's share was disbursed directly to the borrower, and that the transaction timestamps align within the permitted window.
- Reconciles repayments — where a borrower's EMI must be split between LendingIQ's share and the bank's share in the correct ratio, and both parties' books must reflect the split correctly. Misallocated repayments create interest calculation errors that compound over the loan's life.
- Produces an unreconciled items report for any transaction where LendingIQ's CBS data and the partner bank's data do not agree — flagging the specific account, discrepancy amount, and likely cause.
Output: Daily reconciliation report — all accounts with match status, reconciled volume, and unreconciled items with discrepancy detail and root cause classification.
FLDG Tracking
Continuous — on NPA event and monthly reviewINVOKED WHEN: an NPA event is recorded on a co-lending account or monthly FLDG review is due
- Tracks the FLDG provided by LendingIQ to the partner bank — recording every NPA event that triggers FLDG utilisation, computing cumulative FLDG drawn and remaining headroom.
- Flags when FLDG utilisation reaches the replenishment threshold specified in the master agreement — where LendingIQ is obligated to top up the FLDG to the original level. Failure to replenish on time is a contractual breach.
- Computes the FLDG utilisation rate — actual losses as a percentage of FLDG committed — so management can assess whether the FLDG commitment is sized appropriately.
Output: FLDG tracker — current utilisation, remaining headroom, NPA events triggering utilisation, and replenishment obligation flag when threshold is approached.
Reporting
Monthly — partner bank and internal managementINVOKED WHEN: monthly reporting cycle is due
- Produces the partner reporting pack — the operational report the co-lending master agreement requires LendingIQ to provide to the partner bank each month: portfolio outstanding by disbursement vintage, NPA rate, FLDG utilisation, repayment collection efficiency, and any exceptions.
- Produces the internal management co-lending dashboard: portfolio volume by partner, yield on LendingIQ's share, FLDG cost as a percentage of yield, and comparison of co-lending NPA rates against LendingIQ's direct origination portfolio.
Output: Partner reporting pack in master agreement-prescribed format. Internal management dashboard — portfolio volume, yield, FLDG cost, NPA comparison.
Hard guardrails
Will notApprove co-lending cases or modify the co-lending ratio for any account.
Will notAmend the FLDG commitment or the co-lending master agreement.
Will notRelease FLDG replenishment payments. FLDG replenishment is a finance team payment authorisation.
Known limitations
Partner bank data feed quality and timeliness varies by partner.Where the partner feed is delayed, the reconciliation report will show apparent unreconciled items that resolve once the delayed feed arrives. Build a data feed latency SLA into the master agreement with each partner.
FLDG utilisation tracking depends on NPA classification accuracy.Where a co-lending account crosses the NPA threshold but classification is delayed, FLDG utilisation will be understated. Ensure the co-lending NPA classification cycle is synchronised with the FLDG tracking update cycle.
